MY left ear is clogged?!?

hey, i just recently got over a cold, and i still have to like blow my nose constantly but i noticed last night my left ear is really cloged like as if i was in an airplane kina thing andd i can feel likeee as iff water or some liquid is inside, buttt i havent shoved anything inside my ear and it hurts when i lean one side what do i Do is this an ear infection? Shud i go to the doctors?
