Tottenham's future vs Aston Villa's?

Depends on how they handle the transfer market. Villa are good at grooming players but they just sell them, never actually building their own squad. They will need to get some good players, keep them, and work from there if they are to be Europa contending team (too much competition to get into the CL for them). Tottenham are notoriously bad in the trasnfer market but they are certainly in a better position than Villa right now with the players they have. If they can manage to hold onto some of their stars (starting with Moderic) and build around that, they are looking good to put up a fight against Arsenal (Chelsea, City and United are pretty firmly in the top 3 from now on).
