Why doesn't everybody just become a Miami Heat fan now that they got the best team in the league?

I know a lot of people who switched and became Heat fans. I also used to like the Spurs and Celtics before, but no more. I think the Heat have a way better team and win many titles. LeBron announced that they would win 7 titles. So I think anyone who roots for another team will just waste his time.
