Whats the best way to clean your ears?

hello guys so im goin to a festival in June and ive suufered with blocked ears and i dont want a blocked ear when ive gone to the festival my right ear is clear i felt around my ear and herd no wax etc, however my left ear has been ringing and at the bottom i push up my skin to my ear and i can hear wax pushing up i have ear drops but my dad says iff i keep using it it will damage my ears please help i want them both to be clear what can i do to get it out?
