My mole got really big?

ok Ive alwayssss from a little kid had this small mole on the back of my neck under my hair so i never payed much atention to it, but the other day i felt it and it was 3x bigger n pinkish with brown on tip, when it was just a small brown mole , what happened??? (imma get an apt to get it iff but still)
