Why are Miami Heat fans often called bandwaggon fans?

I used to like the Spurs a few years back, then I liked the Celtics and now it's hard for me not to root for the Heat. They just have such a good team. Why should someone not root for a team that plays for the title? I still have the Lakers as a backup.
